SYNOPSIS: 
Love Comes Later is a subversive crime, thriller with some pulp undertones. A young woman comes to America to start over again. She is forced to steal in order to get her personal belongings back but one petty theft spirals into the next – setting off a domino of violent events, ultimately causing her downfall.

She’s a prostitute who buys drugs from Jimmy and also sleeps around with him. At the end, she’s caught in bed with Jimmy when he gets shot, and helps him deal with his injury. This role requires semi-nudity (wearing brassiere and panties) while performing a simulated sex under a blanket…5 scenes, 10 lines

LOVE COMES LATER is a punk version of the immigrant story, about a woman who is forced into a life of crime in order to become American. She is forced to steal in order to get her personal belongings back but one petty theft spirals into the next – setting off a domino of violent events, ultimately causing her downfall.

LOVE COMES LATER is about the flawed idea of the “American Dream” – one that sets people up to fail regardless of how hard they try. It’s a look at how America treats immigrants and the poor, with the hope of inspiring honest, important conversations.  But at the heart of it – this is a story about love and fear: two of the most primal emotions that drive us all as human beings.
