*Make sure to film horizontally on smart devices
*Double check that you are: in focus, are well lit, clearly heard without background noise
*Before self-taping, CAREFULLY READ THE ROLE DESCRIPTION ABOVE, as you will improvise as that character.
Mainly set in a transient motel, wherein most of the cast is part of its community, we get the sense that its prison-like construction both encages and provides refuge for the people who find themselves there. Stained, sinister, sad; it invites the darker, baser instincts in our characters to thrive. These are real people, albeit disenfranchised and lost to normal society, and each have the same hopes and American dreams that only money can buy.

- Improvise a 1-2 minute monologue on how you (as your character) came to live in a transient motel. Examples: addiction(s), your struggles, who you blame, hiding from an abuser, runaway, mental illness, illegal immigrant, etc., Be loud, quiet, angry, thrilled, uncontrolled, stoic, depressed, strung out, silly, OCD, nervous tics, etc. FEEL FREE TO EXPLORE YOUR OWN REASONS.
