[FELICITY]
Caucasian female, 18-25 yrs., who can pass for high school student.  STRONG ACTORS WITH IMPROV EXPERIENCE.  Felicity knows everything, especially with her boyfriend Mark whose past relationship with ex-girlfriend, Vera, fuels her jealousy and insecurities.  Angry with herself for not being able to vent her frustrations with Mark, her actions are mean and vindictive.  Non-Union talent will be contracted under SAG-AFTRA.

[MARY]
Caucasian, Asian, Hispanic, ethnically ambiguous female, 18-25 yrs., who can pass for high school student.  STRONG ACTORS WITH IMPROV EXPERIENCE.  Best friend to Vera but currently in a contentious relationship.  A sweet, baby-faced, dark haired girl (must be willing to dye hair jet black) with an eighties goth punk-rocker-meets-preppy kind of style.  She’s a big city girl stuck in a small town.  Vera pushed her away while with Mark and for that, Mary holds a grudge.  Non-Union talent will be contracted under SAG-AFTRA.

[MARK]
Caucasian Male, 18-25 yrs. who can pass for high school student. STRONG ACTORS WITH IMPROV EXPERIENCE.  Tall, incredibly handsome, athletic frame, with a mane of  black hair.  Boyfriend to Felicity, Mark believes himself to be a nice guy but is really a douchebag.  He likes to engage with ex-girlfriend Vera, even though he knows it hurts Felicity.  Non-Union talent will be contracted under SAG-AFTRA.

All ethnicities Male.  18-25 yrs. who can pass for high school student. STRONG ACTORS WITH IMPROV EXPERIENCE.  Sam is the teddy bear with a baby face yet large and physically imposing in stature.  He is regarded as the hero, who stands up for people.  Super sensitive and vulnerable, this role requires the ability to cry on cue.  Non-Union talent will be contracted under SAG-AFTRA.

• Tips for self-taping:
  • make sure you are well lit, in focus, against a simple background and clearly audible
  • if using cell phone, film horizontally
  • reader is off camera, to the side of lens, further back
  • reader must read lines quietly to not over power talent
  • talent eye line is to reader, just hugging side of camera (not looking straight into lens)
